AAMFT-Approved supervision and consultation for clinicians pursuing licensure in Tennessee and North Carolina.
Alongside my work with clients, I provide AAMFT-Approved supervision for therapists working toward licensure in Tennessee and North Carolina, plus case consultation for providers who want a thinking partner on the harder cases.
My style is collaborative and developmentally aware. We'll build the clinical fundamentals, assessment, case conceptualization, treatment planning, and ethics, while tending to the parts of the work the licensure exam never measures: your therapist identity, your countertransference, your sustainability, and your joy in this work.
What to expect
Supervision sessions blend live case review, theoretical grounding, and direct feedback. I'll ask you questions you might not love. I'll also celebrate your wins out loud and tell you when you're being too hard on yourself.
For consultation clients, we can scope a one-time session or an ongoing arrangement around specific populations or clinical questions. I'm especially comfortable consulting on neurodivergent-affirming care, adolescent, and young adult work.
FAQs
Primarily MFT associates and pre-licensed clinicians working toward LMFT licensure in Tennessee or North Carolina. I also provide case consultation for already-licensed clinicians, school counselors, clergy, and others wanting clinical input on specific cases.
Both. Many supervisees do a mix, weekly individual supervision plus periodic group or dyadic sessions. Group supervision is especially useful for exposure to a wider range of cases and clinical voices.
My clinical work is integrative. I pull from Experiential, CBT, ACT, Narrative, Solution-Focused, and DBT. In supervision I help you develop your own theoretical voice rather than imposing mine.
Yes, and these are areas I love supervising. If you're building a niche in either, supervision can include dedicated time on assessment, treatment planning, and family work in those populations.
Rates and current openings vary. I'll share specifics on a discovery call. I keep a small supervision caseload to make sure each supervisee gets meaningful attention.
Send me a note via the contact form with a few sentences about your training stage, the state you're licensing in, and what you're looking for in a supervisor. We'll set up a no-cost discovery call from there.
Book a free 15-minute consultation, or send a note and I'll be in touch within a couple of business days.
